Our Mission
Health Empowerment through Active Leadership Inc’s mission is to develop a culturally-competent healthcare workforce that is able to meet the needs of the Inland Empire community. Our services include mentorship, apprenticeship, and research on improving Community Health.
Our Programs
We offer a wide range of programs that cater to the diverse needs and interests of our students. We will provide access to healthcare experience, mentorship, higher application experience, and research in community health. Apprenticeships offered by HEAL will result in a certificate through the Department of Labor.
Our Vision
We are passionate about diversifying the healthcare workforce. We want students from San Bernardino County and the surrounding IE area to know they are needed and valuable in the healthcare field. We are confident that culturally competent, comprehensive care will decrease health disparities in our community.
